Having used these pumps ourselves in plenty of brew days we can highly recommend them to anyone looking for their first brew pump, second, or just a nice upgrade. The power and control of the Riptide pumps are incredible to say the least, and each unit has plenty of umph to push everything from a CIP ball to gently recirculating a mash!

Re-circulation and sparging are a snap, simply dial in the perfect flow speed without ever restricting the actual flow from the mash, easy, precise, and simply wonderful! After the boil, connect your whirlpool arm and begin with a strong flow and then dial it back at the very end for a perfect trub pile before you rack off to your fermenter. Finally, the Riptide pump is fantastic with our wort chillers! We typically use a Maxx and it’s so nice to just dial in the speed based on the groundwater temperature of the moment. This makes chilling your wort quick and easy without having to constantly adjust your flow rates with ball valves!

Lastly, cleaning could not be easier. Never again unscrew your pump head to clean! Just unclamp the 3″ TC, remove the gasket and clean the inside of your pump, it’s actually that simple. Of course we recommend our brewery wash for this as we have had nothing but spectacular results!
